Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Deposit

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • A contract and invoice will be emailed after your booking request.

  • Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is paid and the contract is signed.

  • Remaining balances are due on or before the session date.

2. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy

  • If you cannot attend your session, a rescheduled date will be discussed.

  • If no mutually suitable date can be agreed upon, the 50% deposit will be retained.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the session require full payment.

  • If the Photographer must cancel due to illness, emergency, or extreme weather, a full deposit refund or reschedule will be offered.

3. Copyright & Usage

  • All images remain the copyright of Kingfisher’s Grace Photography under Australian copyright law.

  • You receive a personal-use licence for delivered images.

  • Permission will always be requested before using your images for portfolio, advertising, or promotional purposes.

  • A Photography Release Form allows you to choose how your images can or cannot be used.

4. Image Delivery

  • Images are delivered via online gallery unless stated otherwise.

  • Standard delivery timeframe is 2–6 weeks.

  • Raw/unedited files are not provided.

  • Editing style follows the Photographer’s established artistic approach.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Please arrive on time and prepared for the session.

  • Lateness may shorten your session without refund.

  • Children and pets must be supervised at all times.

  • Any required permits or travel fees are the Client’s responsibility.

6. Photographer Responsibilities

  • Services will be provided with professional skill and care.

  • The Photographer is not liable for missed shots due to weather, venue rules, lateness, or uncooperative behaviour.

  • In the rare event of technical failure, alternative arrangements will be offered.

7. Artistic Style

  • You acknowledge that you are familiar with and accept the Photographer’s artistic style.

  • Image selection and editing decisions are made at the Photographer’s discretion.

8. Payments & Refunds

  • All payments must be made via the method on your invoice.

  • Late payments may delay image delivery.

  • Payments are final unless the Photographer cancels the session.

9. Liability

  • Kingfisher’s Grace Photography is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or accidents that occur at the session.

  • While all reasonable precautions are taken, we are not liable for image loss caused by events beyond our control.

10. Weather Conditions

  • Outdoor sessions may require rescheduling for safety or quality reasons.

  • The Photographer has final say on whether conditions are appropriate.

11. Print Quality

  • Colours may vary between screens and printed photos.

  • We are not responsible for print quality completed by third-party print labs.

12. Image Storage

  • Long-term archival storage is not guaranteed.

  • Clients are responsible for backing up delivered images.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By paying your deposit and completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
